Biography

Ricardo Cabeza holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UPC and the University of Torino, with a specialization in Automation from UPC and additional business education from IESE Business School. He counts with more than 30-year international experience in business relations across various industries covering the entire value chain: from consulting machine builders in designing innovative concepts to supporting end manufacturers in reducing their Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through advanced machine vision and process control solutions. Currently he hold a dual leadership role within the BST Group. As Managing Director of BST Iberica Barcelona SL, he steers operations across Iberia and Latin America, overseeing P&L, human resources, sales regional market strategy to deliver exceptional service and support. As Vice Director of New Business Development for the group globally, he is focused on building strategic bridges between our European, North American, and Asian business units for the battery industry. This involves driving international growth initiatives and fostering cross-continental partnerships to expand our global footprint and create new market opportunities. Inspired by connections formed within the Upcell network, he will present during the event the joint project with Comexi and Lazpiur’s.
