- Dr. Joachim Arnold is the CEO of OCO Global, a technology-enabled advisory firm specializing in trade, investment, and economic development. With nearly 20 years of experience in foreign investment and international expansion, he has built a strong track record of supporting governments, agencies, and companies in attracting capital and creating sustainable growth opportunities. Prior to joining OCO Global, Joachim held senior roles in international investment promotion. As Europe Director for JobsOhio (2015–2020), he led representation across the UK, Ireland, France, and Germany, working closely with state and network partners to position Ohio as a premier U.S. destination for foreign direct investment. Earlier, as a consultant for UNCTAD, he developed investment attraction frameworks for Invest India’s renewable energy sector and delivered training programs for more than 200 investment promotion professionals across Jordan, Egypt, and India. Joachim holds both a Diploma and a PhD in Economic Geography from the University of Bayreuth.
